FHS Class of 1954 donates to the Crocker Field Restoration Fund

Philanthropy toward our Alma Mater

Everyone in the Class of 1954 can be proud of the philanthropic efforts we made to our alma mater. In May 2004 at the annual FHS alumni meeting, we announced a $10000 scholarship to be awarded $500 each year to a worthy recipient.

Then in October 2004 at the reunion Friday night football game, we presented the athletic director a check for $1000 to be used for the Hall of Fame honoring outstanding FHS athletes of many decades. Every two years awards are presented.

Shortly after our 50th reunion we gave the Crocker Field Restoration Committee a check for $1000. Since then, improvements have been on-going as money is raised.

Now at the time of our 55th anniversary, we will demonstrate our generosity once more with yet another donation to Crocker Field Restoration Fund in the amount of $!000-1500.

All in all we have given $13500 to FHS. This will be the last of any large gifts as we are no longer fund raising. The Class money left after this reunion will be saved for a 60th reunion if there is to be one. If not, the remaining money will also be gifted to FHS.
